Finally put up the LX50 for sale. The weather has turned for the better, for a change, and promises to be good all weekend so I've put the scoot on craigslist. Last night, after not touching the LX50 for possible 4 months, it started after only giving it a couple turns on the throttle. Beauty!
Will need to rinse it off and check the tires but otherwise, it's ready to go! Kind of sad, though, as there are a lot of memories in that little scoot.
Rather than wait around, I will probably take my GTS for a smaller ride today as I want to enjoy the sun on my scooter.
Here's hoping for a quick sale this weekend!

I feel your pain. I had to sell my little Ruckus in order to get my Elite, but it was hard to do!
Hope it all goes smoothly for you!
I feel your pain. I had to sell my Mazda Miata for the same reason: I was no longer driving it. Cars and motorcycles need to be exercised. They have to move on to hands that will drive them. Make sure you keep pictures, then let it go. Use the money to install an Admore light bar or two, buy a topcase if you don't already have one, install Hot Grips, a Stebel Nautilus air horn, a 12 volt outlet, a Zzumo GPS, a GoPro HD2 camera with all the goodies and trimmings, and RAM mounts to carry all those farkles and electronics. Then ride to Lake Louise this summer.
I don't think you'll be missing your LX for very long.
Deb - It all worked out - thanks!
David - Agreed - my LX50 has basically sat since I bought my GTS so it was time to move on. And now, I know what to spend my money on!
