Thanks for your comments about the photos. It will be a shame if the ferry stops but I guess it's all in the name of progress. *sigh* I love how the different parts of the world look so different - gives us all a reason to travel, eh?

So happy that you finally got some good riding weather. We really enjoyed the photos. The ferry sounds wonderful and such a shame if it stops running. It is great to see the landscape up there as it is so different from ours. We are totally on the opposite corner of the USA from you.

I've put a Google Map capture to show you the right - out is in blue, bacl is in red.

From Fort Langley was not a good ride - along Glover road which turns into 200th. Basically took that down to 16th Avenue - there was some heavy traffic along there. Then along 16th basically until White Rock. 16th was very busy at times with no shoulder.

Back from White Rock, I took Marine Drive and that changed into 8th Avenue. That was good although it was a bit hairy around the Pacific Highway intersection. I then turned up 184th which was excellent. It was a great road as it was not too busy nor hilly. I headed east on 80th, north on 200th, and east on 96th until I returned to Fort Langley. There was a time on 96th when I had a few cars behind me but otherwise it was a very nice ride back.

Would you be so kind as to make a route map? I'm curious as to your path there I just got on a scooter 2 weeks ago, am a big guy and am always concerned about hills.
